Meet the team

Andy

Senior Service & Mechanical Technician - MOT Tester – Company Director

Andy began his apprenticeship in 1964 at Grays of Chatham where he became a fully qualified car and motorcycle mechanic. Since then he worked at several independent garages before joining his brother Garrick in 1980 at Dunkirk Garage. As the business grey over the following 10 years it was clear there was a need for larger premises and in 1990 they took over Bull Lane Garage. The rest is history! Andy is a keen motorcycle trials rider and when he’s not riding he’s often busy restoring classic bikes.

Andy now does the majority of the MOT tests, servicing and mechanical repairs and deals with the day-to-day running of the business.

Karl

Diagnostic & Auto Electrical Specialist - Master Technician - MOT Tester - Company Director

Karl began his apprenticeship at Bull Lane Garage in 1995 and never managed to get away! He has always preferred the more technically challenging side of cars and loves nothing more than diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, especially when told that no-one else can find the fault.

In 2015 Karl first entered the Aftermarket Magazine Top Technician competition and in 2017 he won the title. This was an extremely proud moment for both Karl and the garage.

The majority of Karl’s work is in his specialist areas which are diagnostics, air-conditioning and the day-to-day running of the business.

Mick

Senior Service & Mechanical Technician

Mick began his apprenticeship at Martin Walters Citroen of Canterbury in 1978. Over the following years he has worked on several vehicle brands at specialist level. We have known Mick for over 20 years. He is extremely meticulous with his work and were very pleased when he agreed to become part of our team in 2016.

Mick deals with the majority of the servicing and mechanical repairs.
